La Fortuna Bar & Restaurant caminar apie - Experience Exceptional Dining in Stratford

We've been to La Fortuna 2 or 3 times and have always enjoyed our experience. My husband decided that we should take Easter off and go out to dinner. He called to make a reservation for 1pm. When we arrived, the restaurant was bright and festive. We were created by smiling faces and Happy Easter's. As they brought us to our table, the bartender acknowledged us and said happy Easter with a bug smile. The manager was visible throughout the restaurant greeting and checking on patrons as well as providing backup as needed to the waitstaff. Our waiter was Marco. He created us and took our drink order to give us time to look at the menu. The bartender brought our drinks and chatted. I was happy that their regular menu was available and had planned on ordering something from there until we saw the specials. We started with tri color insalata...so fresh and the dressing was so good. We then ordered the stuffed salmon which was stuffed with crabmeat and shrimp and came with spinach and mashed potatoes. Absolutely out of this world. The salmon was cooked perfectly. There's was enough stuffing but not so much it took away from the dish. The sauce was tasty and added depth to the dish. The spinach was also cooked perfectly with some fresh garlic. We really enjoyed our meal. We finished with a piece of cheesecake and a tiramisu and some coffee. Absolutely fantastic meal. The staff works so well together. Everyone is always smiling . They make you feel welcome. You feel like family! Great experience as always. Can't wait for our next date!

This was our first time here for my boyfriend’s birthday and I was beyond impressed from the food to the wait staff to the incredible atmosphere, it was beyond a delight to celebrate his birthday at La Fortuna. Marcos was an absolute delight and we will definitely be back. Portion size was also incredible for the price, we have left overs for days!

Beautiful ambiance at this restaurant. Sitting outside on a beautiful flower enclosed patio, enjoying some delicious food. (Stuffed mushrooms with sausage and mozzarella, gnocchi with vodka sauce & spaghetti with meatballs -(meatballs are made with pork, beef and veal) The portions are unbelievable and the service was excellent. Marcos, neftolie and our waitress was so friendly.

Went for my mom's and my daughter's birthday brunch. The servers were great. The food was good. It was salty for our appetizer, and they re-done it right away. As you know, parents and kids are picky eaters but they really enjoyed the food. And the espresso was amazing. We brought the cake, and they served our cake with light up and sang for us Everything was perfect, and I am definitely coming back :) Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our meals, both of us opted for specials that aren't on the regular menu. We sat at the bar and service was fine, not super attentive or friendly but not bad either. The drinks were made well and the timing of the entrees and appetizer were good. The Fried Calamari was over cooked so a bit chewy and the only sauce available was marinara, we prefer aioli. The Surf & Turf was delicious and perfectly cooked and the Sea Bass was as well however the greens were a bit on the bitter side. The best part was the portions were so big we got to take home leftovers that heated up beautifully! All in all, it was a good experience!

We had a wonderful time! The food is good and the portions are abundant. My French martini was delicious and the eggplant Parmesan very good .

Went for a ladies night out and wasn't disappointed. It was busy, but we were seated in a reasonable time. I love Italian food and this was one of the best thus far. Chicken parmigiana was delicious and serving size was enough for two, but I ate it all (in 2 serving). The atmosphere was fun and vibrant.
